{Anne and Peter Weber}

Farmhouse Organics began as Anne's Flower Farm in 1991 on Bainbridge Island. Anne and Peter met while Peter was studying mechanical engineering at Oregon State University and Anne was studying business and pre-law at the University of Washington. Anne, a third generation Bainbridge Farmer, followed in the footsteps of her grandparents and parents who raised chickens and grew produce in Eagledale. Peter was raised in Corvallis and Newport Oregon. He spent his childhood summers working on his cousin's dairy farm in Snohomish, Washington. Peter's paternal grandparents had a family farm in Sultan, Washington. You may know us from our many years at the Bainbridge Island Farmer's Market. We moved our farm to Poulsbo in 1999 so that we could expand our offerings. In 2001 our commitment to sustainable, organic farming was recognized with organic certification from the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

Our new name, Farmhouse Organics, recognizes our expansion from flowers to vegetables, herbs, and fruit. In order to bring the bounty of our farm directly to your table, this year we are making farm shares available for purchase. A farm share guarantees a weekly delivery of the best our farm has to offer throughout the growing season.
